Direct Lighting

Laser System allows you to easily add Light in your Laser to have better lighting.
This can really improve your lighting in EEVEE and in Cycles!
Although you can enable this feature with a single click, you still need to prepare your objects to use it
To use this feature you need to disable Shadow Rays visibility from your Object owning Laser System (modifier).
When enabling "Direct Lighting", Laser System will instantiate your Light Impact inside the Laser Object.
Light will be occluded by the Laser geometry. By disabling the Shadows Rays, you're allowing Light Rays to pass through your Geometry.
Select the Object owning the Laser System (modifier), go to Object Data > Visibility, and un-check "Shadow".
With this method, your Object will stop casting shadows. If you look closely on Fig. A, Cube projects shadows on the bottom Ico-Sphere, while it does not on Fig. B.
This can be ok in some situations, but if it's not acceptable for your work, you can easily solve it.
Before adding your Laser System, enable "As Child". This will add a new Object containing Laser System as a child of your Active object.
You can now keep Shadow Rays enabled on the Parent Object (Gun_A).
