Lip Sync 2.0.0 comes with a lot of changes, including Breaking Changes.

This guide will help you going from 1.x to 2.x

1.x to 2.x

Lip Sync 2.x manages materials in a slightly different way. Now Shader Nodes are grouped in an isolated group to keep your shader editor clean.

This allows an easier removal of Lip Sync's nodes as well.

Nodes created with 1.x cannot be removed with the removing feature shipped with 2.x. You have to remove them manually.

  1. Select your 3D model and go to Shader Editor.

  2. Select following Nodes and remove them with x

  3. Reconnect your Shader to material output

  4. Go in edit mode, select mouth faces, and from Lip Sync Panel click on "Set Mouth"

It will add the new node group, compatible with latest features.
